Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)

In order to provide principals with time and space to share best practices, The Fund will support seven principal-led Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) throughout the 2016-17 school year. Each PLC is led by a principal leader around a specific topic and includes 5-10 principal participants representing both charter- and district-managed schools in a diverse array of communities throughout Chicago. The goal of the PLC program is to provide principal leaders with an opportunity to utilize their expertise, share best practice among principal colleagues and create a unique cross-district opportunity to bring diverse principal leaders into conversation with each other.
