About Kimberly Evans-Cole

Kimberly Evans-Cole joined The Northern Trust Company in April 2010.  She is a Senior Vice President in Enterprise Operations as the Global Head of Client Valuation Reporting (CVR).  Her teams are located in Chicago, London, Bangalore, Singapore, and Manila and represent over 425 employees at the firm.  CVR is responsible for the delivery of trust/custody client accounting and reporting, serving all Northern Trust business segments. Her leadership of CVR has produced a flatter and more service-oriented organization which has been noted by client servicing partners and clients, the completion of a multi-year, large capital program and over $5 Million in benefit to the bank.

Kim has also led and won awards for moving enterprise initiatives forward such as driving partner engagement and enhancing service excellence, while making contributions to several Northern Trust business resource councils.  Her most recent award was a Chairman’s Award for the results produced from her “Pay It Forward” Program, called Effective Women’s Leadership (EWL) which she developed after attending an Executive Leadership Program.

Prior to Kim’s current role, she managed a global team of experienced internal consultants who support Northern Trust’s most sophisticated clients in developing operational, accounting and reporting solutions.  Under her leadership, the team produced high performance outcomes which continue to differentiate Northern Trust in the marketplace for these services.

Kim has over 20 years of banking and consulting experience, has held several senior positions within financial institutions such as American National Bank, First Chicago NBD, ABN AMRO/LaSalle Bank, as Chief Operating Officer of Diamond Bank which was acquired and converted to a Wintrust Bank as a result of Kim’s transformation efforts as COO, and managed her own consulting business working with the C-Suite of community banks to increase revenues and enhance business & service models while creating a culture of accountability for risk and compliance.

Business & Product Development, Organizational Behavior & Development, Business Transformation, Operations & Technology Optimization, and Enterprise Risk & Compliance represent areas of focus and expertise throughout her career.

She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She has also earned numerous business certifications in leadership development, organizational development, operations and quality management, and project management.

Kim currently serves on the University of Chicago’s Board of Court Theatre. Kim is focused on Court’s partnership with Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and their education programs to utilize drama as a vehicle to increase confidence and improve communication skills of CPS students. She is an advisor in the President’s Circle for Deborah’s Place, an organization seeking to end homelessness for women in Chicago.  She served on Board Committees and the Board from 2004-2012 and was President of the Board of Directors of Deborah’s Place for fiscal years 2010-2012.  Kim is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. which is a national service organization and has been a member since 1992.
