About Michelle Trojan

Michelle Trojan serves as the Assistant Principal of Intrinsic Schools and was previously the Dean of Culture at the school for two years.  As Assistant Principal, Michelle is responsible for leading the school-wide implementation of the cultural norms and student code of conduct in a data driven manner. She trains, observes and supports teachers in their implementation of the school’s culture.

Prior to joining Intrinsic, Michelle spent five years at Noble Network’s Rowe-Clark campus where she honed her teaching skills and gained school leadership experience. She served as Dean of Students, Social Studies Department Chair, and the 10th Grade Lead Teacher.  Michelle also taught U.S. History and AP U.S. History.  Michelle was a 2008 Chicago Teach for America corps member. She holds a B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Columbia University.
Michelle is a Chicago native. She is dedicated to improving lives for the many students and families in neighborhoods and communities she so deeply cares for.  She is excited to partner with passionate educators across the city to ensure that all Chicago students reach their potential and achieve success.
