While working at OPPD, Rob learned from many school leaders about the great possibilities of leading a school to and with excellence that demography is not destiny and that schools can be organized to meet the needs of all students.
Rob believes in the children of Chicago and believes they deserve champions willing to ask and resolve difficult questions. Through the EAC, Rob hopes to learn from other educators and synthesize the lessons learned to improve the quality of teaching and learning across the city. He hopes to improve district policies that impact neighborhood elementary schools.
