Elizabeth Greiwe

Associate

As an Associate on the Engagement team, Elizabeth’s job is to highlight and support The Fund’s work to improve principal quality by sharing its story – and the stories of Chicago’s school leaders – through traditional and digital media.

Elizabeth worked as an editor for the Chicago Tribune’s Editorial Board for four years before joining The Fund. At the Tribune, she oversaw the opinion section’s audience engagement strategy, coordinated the paper’s endorsement process and edited readers’ responses for online and print publication. Her work on the Tribune’s voter education efforts cemented a love of advocating for social change at the community level.

Elizabeth graduated summa cum laude from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in journalism. She lives in Bucktown with her boyfriend and their two cats, all of whom enjoy snuggling together on the world’s smallest loveseat.
