The Fund played the lead role in three c-suite searches to develop a Chicago Public Schools (CPS) senior leadership team that drives and is accountable for the District’s strategy around teacher and principal quality. This included the search for a Chief Human Capital Officer (later known as a Chief Talent Officer), responsible for establishing CPS as a world-class organization focused on recruitment, selection, training, retention and performance of top talent in the schools and central office. Additionally, The Fund recruited two Chief Financial Officers, enhancing the District’s capabilities to prioritize teacher and principal quality in the budget and finance process.
