The Fund supports CPS and Northwestern University Rapid Impact Grants

The Chicago Public Education Fund (The Fund) is delighted to join the Steans Family Foundation, the Spencer Foundation and an anonymous donor in supporting the Rapid Impact Grants Program, a partnership between Northwestern University’s School of Education and Social Policy and Chicago Public Schools. This new program will fund small research projects to solve pressing questions facing Chicago schools. “The Fund regularly supports research on key issues facing Chicago’s schools, and our team is eager to learn how to better support principals,” said Fund CEO Heather Y. Anichini. “Research-informed practice is essential to improving educator practice. We’re particularly excited at the innovative design Northwestern created, and we look forward to seeing the results.” The Fund partners with Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the School for Education and Social Policy to deliver the Chicago Principals Fellowship Program, a principal leadership program designed for and with Chicago principals. The Fund is delighted to deepen its partnership with Northwestern University. For additional questions, please contact Lauren Burdette at lburdette@thefundchicago.org.
