Dan Ulloa

As the People + HR Manager, Dan is responsible for supporting the people who make the work at The Fund possible. He is passionate about promoting and developing others and believes people are the most important asset of any organization. 

Dan joins The Fund after having worked in both public and nonprofit sectors with a focus on education. He began his career at Chicago Public Schools (CPS) first working as a recruitment specialist in the Talent department and later as the CPS Board of Education Liaison in the CEO’s office. Most recently, Dan served as the Financial Programs Manager at the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office where he oversaw the state’s financial education program. 

Dan holds a Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Roosevelt University. 

Dan is a long time Chicago native (and proud CPS alum) and in his free time enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring the many neighborhoods and restaurants the city has to offer, traveling, biking, and hanging out at home with his cats, Luna and Pluto.
