Jaye Hobart

In her role as Manager of Engagement and Communications, Jaye Hobart strategizes and coordinates The Fund’s internal and external communications. She also works with the CEO and senior leadership team to fundraise for The Fund’s $50 million effort to power progress in Chicago’s public schools by investing in the talented educators who lead them. Jaye joins The Fund after over three years at the Civic Federation, where she worked directly with the President to advance the overall development strategy for the Federation.

Throughout her career in the nonprofit sector, Jaye has also worked at Woods Fund Chicago managing a city-wide racial equity process, the Center for New Community, and the ACLU of New Mexico’s Regional Center for Border Rights. Jaye received her M.A. from the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Luther College. She is a 2021 Leadership in Democracy Fellow at the McCormick Foundation and a 2020 Fundraising for Good Leader at the Loyola University Chicago Baumhart Center. Jaye serves on the board of the HANA Center and Korean Adoptees of Chicago, and co-leads the API Affinity Group of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Chicago Chapter.
