Kate Turvy

As a member on the Data, Policy and Reports team, Kate analyzes data and uses it to support report creation and policy strategy that improves public school performance across Chicago.

Kate joined The Fund after working as a Data Manager at a charter school in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, she developed a passion for using data to work toward more equitable opportunities and outcomes for all students.

She graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Human Development & Psychological Services and a minor in Business Institutions. During her time at Northwestern, she also served as captain of the Division 1 Women’s Tennis team. After graduating, she played tennis professionally for two years before moving to New Orleans. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, baking, reading and running.
