As an Associate on the Educator Supports team, Miriam communicates program opportunities to educators, celebrates their work, and supports The Fund’s data-driven recruitment strategies to serve a diverse group of leaders across the city.
Miriam studied Social Policy at Northwestern University, where she conducted research on how educators understand and implement Restorative Justice practices in schools. As an undergraduate, she also worked as a classroom aide at an early childhood center in Rogers Park and saw the transformational power of high-quality public schools. Before joining The Fund, Miriam worked as a Special Education teacher in Milwaukee Public Schools. In 2021, she earned a Master’s in Urban Education from Alverno College in Milwaukee.
Outside of work, Miriam enjoys trying new restaurants in her neighborhood and new recipes in her kitchen.
