Ryan Kupperman

Ryan Kupperman joined our team in March 2026 and sits at the intersection of policy and communications. He brings nearly a decade of multimedia communications experience, including as a community builder, storyteller, writer, copy editor, website manager, and media analyst.

Ryan graduated from Elon University in 2024 with a degree in journalism and a minor in criminal justice studies. His experience leading a multimedia news network and his passion for social justice deeply influence how he shows up in his work.

Prior to his start in the nonprofit sector, Ryan served as a local, national, and international reporter — covering juvenile detainment and restorative justice in Burlington, North Carolina; the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago; and the International Collegiate Programming Contest in Egypt.

Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys reading, playing soccer, and discovering new board games.
