Stephanie Champi

In her role as the Manager of Educator Supports, Stephanie develops The Fund’s aspiring principal programming to ensure that assistant principals are supported to becoming principal ready and to increase the diversity of the aspiring principal pipeline.

After studying public policy and sociology with a concentration in urban education at The University of Chicago, Stephanie wanted the opportunity to better understand what happens on the ground in education, so she joined the 2016 Teach For America Corps in Boston, where she taught 7th-grade math. This experience brought the complexity of educational inequity to light to see that it is not only the education system that has to change but many of the other systems in our country that have to change as well.

Prior to joining The Fund, Stephanie had been working as a Founder of Recruitment Innovation at Teach For America to utilize design thinking skills to create a user-centered approach to recruitment and expand the product offerings that Teach For America provides to their partner schools.
