As the Manager of Events on The Fund’s Engagement team, Tiara is responsible for the planning and execution of both internal and external Fund events including school site visits, principal happy hours and the annual Principal Appreciation Campaign in which the diligent work of CPS principals is recognized.
Tiara joins The Fund after four years at Pillars Community Health, a local health-based nonprofit in La Grange. There she served as Event Manager, taking ownership of the annual Ball which welcomed over 300 community members in celebration of their work. She hopes to bring her passion and expertise for events into recognizing and celebrating the work of principals.
Tiara graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelors in Communication and earned her Masters in Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, game nights with friends, trying new restaurants, and loving on her pup, Cassius.
