2020 Principal Appreciation Campaign
October is national Principal Appreciation Month. 2020 marks the fifth year of Chicago’s citywide Principal Appreciation Campaign, when we join forces with school communities, city officials and corporate leaders to lift up the great work of our hardworking school leaders. 2020 has been an unprecedented and challenging year, and this year more than ever, our school leaders deserve our appreciation.
Chicago’s public school principals oversee more than 600 schools and impact over 350,000 students in the third-largest school district in the country. Thanking principals is one way that we can acknowledge their hard work and keep them in our schools.
