Katherine Finnegan Leventhal
Katherine is currently president of the Finnegan Family Foundation. Before joining the foundation, she began her career as an analyst at J.P. Morgan after graduating from Bowdoin College. After several years, she made the jump to the nonprofit sector and was accepted as a fellow at Education Pioneers, where she was assigned to the New York headquarters of Teach For America (TFA). After completing the fellowship, she stayed on to join the staff at TFA in a planning capacity. She left the nonprofit sector for business school, earning an MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. After business school, Katherine worked for S.C. Johnson in brand management. Katherine currently serves on the boards of Education Pioneers Chicago, Bottom Line Chicago, and the Leadership Council of A Better Chicago.
