Woody McCally

President of the Finnegan Family Foundation

Since 2008, Woody has been President and a director of the Finnegan Family Foundation, based in Chicago. In that capacity, he supports the foundation’s primary mission to improve the life outcomes of underprivileged children, with a particular focus on education.

Woody began his professional career in the Fortune 500 environment where he was employed for fourteen years as an executive for FMC Corporation in financial and planning positions. Most recently he served as Group Controller of the company’s Food Machinery Group. Later he became an officer and investor at several private companies, where he functioned variously as CFO and President.

Woody has served on the boards of a number of for-profit and nonprofit organizations, and is currently Co-Chair of the Education Innovation funder subgroup of Forefront. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard College, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
