Bridget Lee
As the Director of Development and Operations, Bridget Lee leads the strategic stewardship of The Fund’s funders, stakeholders, partners, and team. Bridget joins The Fund after five years at Chicago Public Schools, where she served as the right hand to former Chief Education Officer, Dr. Maurice Swinney, and Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives, where she developed collaborative structures and led professional development to support systems alignment to the CPS’ 5-year Vision and Equity Framework.
Bridget has worked in the field of education since graduating from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing in 2012. She was a 2018 Surge Institute Fellow and a 2019 Teach for America Elevate Fellow. Bridget’s commitment to building and supporting strong school leaders stems from the impact that a quality education had on her own life and the firm belief that every student, in every neighborhood, deserves access to excellence in education.
Bridget is a leader in education policy, a karaoke enthusiast, and an Indiana Hoosier. She lives in Irving Park with her Instagram famous English bulldog, Bebe.
