Esther Lee

Esther is responsible for The Fund’s in-role supports programs, which includes managing The Summer Design Program, Professional Learning Communities and other principal professional development efforts designed to improve public school performance across Chicago.

Prior to The Fund, she worked at 826CHI, providing strategic data support to increase equity of access to high-quality arts education programs in Chicago. Her passion for education first took off in Asia, where she taught and developed ESL programs at elite high schools in South Korea and China. After five years abroad, Esther chose to focus her career on taking measurable steps to make a positive and meaningful impact in her hometown of Chicago.

Esther graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. In her free time, Esther likes to listen to political podcasts, run along the lakefront and visit museums.
