Leah Grynheim

As an associate of innovation and program at The Fund, Leah assists our work with Chicago Public Schools network chiefs and The Fund’s initiative to strengthen collaboration between principals and Local School Councils (LSCs).

Leah began her career in education as an AmeriCorps member at City Year Chicago, where she worked with students at schools on the South and West Sides of the city. Since then, Leah has worked with seniors in high schools, pairing them with paid internships at Urban Alliance, and most recently ventured into the world of early learning as a program coordinator at Start Early, working with the Educare Network, a national network of 25 Early Head Start and Head Start schools.

Originally from Indianapolis, Leah has a degree in nonprofit management and leadership from Indiana University Bloomington. Outside of work, Leah spends her time community organizing, kayaking on the Chicago River, and biking around the city.
