Illinois State University, National Board Resource Center

In order to promote state-level support for National Board Certification, The Fund invested in Illinois State University’s resource center. The center supports candidates for National Board Certification statewide, in addition to the proper administration of state appropriations for the initiative, totaling $11.5 million today. 

Impact

• National Board Resource Center at Illinois State University.
• The center has raised statewide awareness for the initiative and developed a model for candidate support programs, including helping Chicago Public Schools develop its internal support infrastructure.
