Network-based Professional Development
In September 2017, The Fund invited leaders at CPS to submit an application for professional development for groups of principals in their network. In coordination with CPS, we reviewed partial or full proposals from Networks 1, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13 and the Talent Office and invested $200,000.
Ultimately, selected proposals allowed us to scale proven supports at a lower cost (for e.g. school scheduling or one-on-one coaching) or conduct needs assessments that informed future work.
