Lina Bankert
Lina Bankert is a managing director and partner in BCG’s Chicago office and a leader in its public sector and social impact practices, with emphasis on education and employment topics. Lina works with clients on strategic planning, performance and sustainability improvement, organization design, talent pipeline development, and large-scale transformation. Her work sits at the intersection of government, education (PreK-12, postsecondary, and adult), and industry, and she has extensive experience facilitating change between private and social sector organizations. Lina serves as a board member and the education lead for BCG’s Center for Illinois’ Future and on the ASU GSV Workforce Insights Board.
Prior to BCG, Lina was a partner with Bellwether Education and co-led the strategic advising practice area as an expert in K-20 education. Lina also has a decade of experience in management consulting and investment banking, both as a generalist and as a specialist in the education and knowledge services sectors. Lina holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University and a master’s degree in business administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She lives in the Chicagoland area with her husband and two children.
