Amresh Kumar

Amresh joined The Fund in March 2026 as an Associate on the Innovation and Program Team, where he supports CPS school leaders through AI initiatives and helps strengthen and diversify the principal talent pipeline.

Amresh brings more than five years of experience in education across Southeast Asia and the U.S., having worked as a teacher, assessment consultant, and government consultant. He is a Teach for India alumnus, having taught high school Mathematics and Science for two years in an under-resourced community. Most recently, he worked as a strategy consultant at Aim & Arrow Group in Chicago, supporting co-founders and partners through data and landscape analyses of the CPS ecosystem. Amresh is passionate about education and is driven by a vision of children everywhere learning with genuine understanding.

Amresh is a recent graduate in Public Policy from the University of Chicago, where he also supported Professor Jens Ludwig’s work at the UChicago Education Lab on scaling high-dosage tutoring nationally.

Outside of work, Amresh enjoys yoga and meditation, ballroom dancing, cooking, and writing poetry. He is also an avid fan of cricket and tennis.
