Christina McCabe

Christina is the associate of people and operations at The Fund, where she helps keep the organization running smoothly behind the scenes while shaping a people-first workplace rooted in care, connection, and structure. She oversees internal systems and daily operations, leads key parts of the hiring lifecycle, and partners across teams to improve policies, platforms, and processes that make work more seamless and sustainable for staff.  

Before joining The Fund, Christina attended Augustana College, where she studied multimedia journalism, mass communications, and communication studies. She brings more than five years of experience in Chicago Public Schools and the nonprofit sector, including her most recent role as a senior impact manager at City Year Chicago. Across each chapter of her career, she has remained committed to advancing educational equity and creating environments where both people and missions can thrive. 

Outside of work, Christina can be found coaching lacrosse, snowboarding, trying new recipes, or embracing the quieter rituals that help her recharge and refill her cup.
