Savannah Payne

As a Data and Policy Associate, Savannah is responsible for The Fund’s annual Principal and Assistant Principal Engagement Survey and gets to spend time working with the data to better understand the needs of principals citywide.

Savannah grew up in the public school system as the daughter, niece, and granddaughter of public school educators, so public education has been near and dear to her work. Before the Fund, Savannah worked as a UI/UX designer and web developer for an education-focused financial-technology startup in California. She brings to The Fund a background in data analysis and human-centered design work.

Savannah recently graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science in symbolic systems and a concentration in education, and she was excited for her move to the Midwest. Outside of work, Savannah likes to spend time reading or laying out in the sun, dying her hair, and enthusiastically losing at trivia night!
